Marta Resende

Portuguese artist, she concluded the degree on Plastic Arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto in 1968. In 1971 she became a high school teacher. In that year she participated in an album with poetry and graphic works of Portuguese artists for the Árvore Collective. In 1977/78 she was an auxiliary Professor at ESBAP and from 1978 on she settled in Germany.

In 1989 she was awarded the first prize at the “Friedrich Schiller- Leben,Werk und Wirkung” contest, in Marbach, Germany. Since 1989 she participated in numerous single and collective exhibitions.
